These knives are constructed out of a
glass filled, polymer resin compound (sometimes called zytel or plastic)
which is tough, durable and light
weight. The poly-resin compound is non-magnetic and makes an excellent
backup or deterrent knife.
These knives are not to be
carried into areas designated as "no weapon allowed".

The Blackie Collins folding button “CIA Letter Opener”
features a beryllium copper spring assisted opening mechanism.
100% non magnetic and sharp. There is NO steel in this knife at all.
Thumb lug on blade assists you when opening the knife.
Its handle is made
from virtually indestructible polyresin and also features a built-in pocket
clip. This is a perfect safety tool for electrical
workers, EOD Techs and others who work with hazardous items.
Excellent backup knife for joggers and bike riders. Easy to sharpen with
emery cloth, wet-dry sandpaper, etc.

I purchased both the CIA letter opener and boot knife to use for
protection when I run, hike or ride my bike. They are so light
weight, I forget I am carrying them half the time. Great deterrent
knifes at a good price.

| I thought that I would send you a quick e-mail to tell you that the
knives you have sent me has come in very handy and the unit is thinking
about getting one for each soldier on the next deployment. I am
thinking of getting a few more from you for my fellow soldiers under my
supervision. I want to Thank You for a Great Product and like I said,
those Knives have really come in handy. If you like, I will e-mail what
types of things we were able to use the knife for in locating the caches
and some IEDs before they could be used or detonated on us.
